Quick answer

Welcome to Elderfield released on September 10, 2026 for Windows through Steam. The developer's launch announcement identifies it as the complete version 1.0.0 rather than an Early Access launch. Steam also lists a separate downloadable Demo.

Where the full game is officially available.

Windows PC

Confirmed on the current Steam store page, with Windows 10 64-bit listed in the system requirements.

Steam Deck

Officially Steam Deck Verified. That compatibility badge is distinct from a native Linux release.

Console editions

No Switch, PS5, or Xbox edition or release date appears in the official launch sources checked for this update.

Careful wording: an unannounced console edition is not the same as a cancelled or impossible one. These pages report only the current official record.

Price can change by region and date.

During the September 15 US-store check, Steam displayed a US$17.99 standard price and a temporary launch discount. Regional pricing, taxes, bundles, and promotions can produce a different checkout total, so use the current Steam listing rather than treating an archived number as a permanent price.

The Demo is listed separately and can be a lower-risk way to inspect the presentation and basic controls. Demo progress, content, balancing, and availability should not be assumed to match the current full build.

Do not mix Demo notes with 1.0.x guides.

  • Full release: Steam App ID 3195440, launched as version 1.0.0.
  • Demo: Steam App ID 3195680, maintained as a separate product entry.
  • Patch claims: a Demo changelog does not establish how a task, item, or balance value works in the full game.
  • Future updates: announced plans remain plans until a release note confirms delivery.
